Sumner’s is a family business that has been trading on the same location in Northenden, South Manchester since 1923. We pride ourselves on exceptional levels of service and one of the widest ranges of premium quality audio and visual technology in the North West.

G H Sumner started repairing and selling radios from a small shed based on the current site way back in 1923, as technology has moved on so has the business. Sumner’s were one of the first retailers in the area to specialise in the sale and repair of televisions and the business has pioneered new technology throughout decades of successful growth.

By looking after our customers and offering them exceptional service and great value for over 80 years we have grown a reputation to be very proud of. We believe in offering a full service that takes the hassle out of buying new technology – when you buy from us we will ensure your purchase is delivered, installed and set-up ready to use – we will even take away the boxes for you if you desire. The service doesn’t end after installation either, being an approved service centre for Panasonic and Sony as well as a Bose Centre of Excellence we can ensure you continue to have the highest quality standards from your purchase long after you have left the shop.
